From Nigeria
Breast-conserving surgery
Her care did not stop at the airport
Christie Ngozi came from Nigeria for breast-conserving surgery in Noida, and when her follow-up was due back home, we made sure her surgeon was still within reach.

“Care doesn't end when the patient boards a flight home.”
Christie Ngozi travelled from Nigeria to India for breast-conserving surgery at a hospital in Noida. After she successfully completed her treatment, she returned home to Nigeria safely. Care does not end when a patient boards a flight home, and it did not end for Christie.
One month after she got home, it was time for her follow-up. We made sure she could connect with the surgeon who performed her surgery in India.
This is what I believe medical tourism should be about. Treatment matters, and so does continuity of care. When a patient trusts us with their health, our responsibility does not end at the airport.
How I helped
- Made sure she could connect with her surgeon in India for her follow-up
- Kept her care going after she was home in Nigeria, so she did not need to travel back immediately
